Ms. Westhauser is licensed in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C. and Board Certified by the NCCAOM. She is a member of the Maryland Acupuncture Society, the Acupuncture Society of Virginia, the Acupuncture Society of Washington D.C., the American Association of Acupuncture and  Oriental Medicine and Resolve, a National Fertility Organization.

Ms. Westhauser studied at the Maryland Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Shanghai, China.

Ms. Westhauser is currently working on her first book which will address Chinese medicine and common ailments.

Ms. Westhauser incorporates extensive Chinese nutritional counseling, acupuncture, herbs and heat therapies into her treatments.
